Liberty Tech 2017 Committee Membership

The Liberty Tech Charter School Governing Board is pleased to announce acceptance of applications for committee membership.  The Board is seeking individuals with a heart for quality public education, who believe in the Liberty Tech mission, core beliefs, and basic charter tenets, and who have the time and willingness to serve with us as a member of one of our committees.  Examples of eligible individuals include; community members, Liberty Tech parents/guardians or grandparents, and educators of all backgrounds.  Committee members may be considered for Governing Board membership as opportunities arises.

The Board is currently seeking committee candidates with experience and/or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • General Business / Non-Profit
  • Fundraising
  • Grant Writing
  • Community Development / Advocacy
  • Finance
  • Marketing

Liberty Tech’s mission and core beliefs can be found on our school website under, “About Liberty Tech.”  The charter and policy manual can be viewed or downloaded (caution, these are large documents) from the Governing Board’s website.

Liberty Tech believes that education is a shared responsibility among the school, home, and community.  Active engagement of committed parents, educators, and other stakeholders is critical to effective school outcomes which include high student achievement, sustainability, and effective operations.  Please be aware that committees meet at least once a month and members are expected to be active participants in the decision-making process.
